Welcome to Elope Charleston!

You want – or need (see below) – to get married in Charleston, but all of the options are either unattractive or outside of your budget.  For this very reason we created Elope Charleston: to provide beautiful, romantic, inexpensive, and actually fun weddings in the heart of South Carolina!

You know what we offer, but who are the people behind your wedding?

My name is Mike Goldberg, and I am the owner of Elope Charleston.

The Elope business concept started in 2011 in Asheville, North Carolina by my good friend, Jon-Paul Brown. He had no idea at the time what a successful idea he had created!

Around the time Jon-Paul got married, he realized that there was a massive hole in the wedding market. Either spend upwards around $30,000 for a wedding, or elope in a minimal ceremony at a courthouse, or worse – by Elvis at the drive thru chapel in Vegas. Surely there must be another option. How about a beautiful, dignified ceremony that is affordable?

The concept was so successful in Asheville, we are proud to now bring it to Charleston!

You contact us and tell us your preferred wedding date and what you need to make your wedding complete, and we will do almost all of the rest.  All you will need to do is get your Carolina wedding license, and we will do everything else.

Our services can be customized any which way you can imagine, so do not hesitate to let us know what you have always dreamed about for your wedding day.  It is your day!  It should be on your terms!
